The South African Journal of Science (SAJS) and the goals of accessibility, inclusion and change

A SciELO South Africa journal’s inclusion language policy as part of the SciELO 25 Years diversity theme: Interview between Prof Leslie Swartz and Dr Nkosinathi Madondo (South African Journal of Science).

The use of Inclusive language in journal articles is important as most readers of articles do not have English as a first language. Inclusive language policies aim to assist and include rather than to exclude readers.
